Frequently asked questions

Straight answers, including the awkward ones.

Everything clients ask before they commit — costs, timelines, guarantees, ownership. Where the honest answer is "it depends", we explain what it depends on rather than hiding behind the phrase.

General

What services does Creating Ra Ra offer?

Four: web design, digital marketing, search engine marketing and SEO/AEO/GEO. All delivered by one team from our office at 2 Havelock Road, Singapore.

Where is Creating Ra Ra located?

At 2 Havelock Road, #07-04 Havelock 2, Singapore 059763, in the Clarke Quay and Havelock area of central Singapore. The nearest MRT is Havelock (TE16) on the Thomson–East Coast Line. Map and directions.

Do you work with businesses outside Singapore?

Yes. We are Singapore-based and most of our work is for Singapore businesses, but we also take clients across Southeast Asia. Search strategy is market-specific, so we adjust keyword, language and schema targeting to the country you are actually selling in.

How big is your team?

Small and senior, deliberately. You work directly with the people doing the work rather than through an account manager relaying messages to a team you never meet.

Costs & timelines

How much does a website cost in Singapore?

It depends on four things: how many unique page templates you need, whether you need e-commerce, how much content we write versus you supply, and what systems the site has to integrate with.

Rather than publish a range that later turns out not to apply to you, we give a fixed written scope and price before any work starts. Tell us what you need and you will have that within two business days.

How long does it take to build a website?

A marketing website typically takes four to eight weeks. E-commerce runs eight to fourteen weeks. Custom web applications are twelve weeks or more.

The biggest variable is almost never development speed — it is how quickly content, images and approvals come back. We give you a schedule of exactly what we need and when, so nothing stalls on an unclear request.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. Projects are typically staged across a deposit and milestone payments tied to agreed deliverables, so you are never paying far ahead of work delivered. Exact terms are set out in the proposal before you sign anything.

What happens if the scope changes mid-project?

We tell you what it costs before we do it. You either approve the change or you do not. What will not happen is discovering an unexplained variation on the final invoice.

What is the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?

SEO earns rankings in traditional search results. AEO earns the direct answer in Google AI Overviews, featured snippets and voice assistants. GEO earns citations inside generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini.

They share technical foundations but need different content structures. Full comparison here.

How long does SEO take to work in Singapore?

Three to six months for early movement, six to twelve months for meaningful results in competitive categories. Technical fixes can show effect within weeks; content and authority compound over quarters.

Can you guarantee a number one ranking on Google?

No, and we would be lying if we said otherwise. Nobody outside Google controls the algorithm.

If a competing agency guarantees you position one, ask two questions: for which exact search term, and what happens contractually when they miss it. The answers are usually revealing.

Is SEO dead because of AI search?

No, but it is no longer sufficient on its own. The pages AI tools cite are overwhelmingly pages that already rank well organically, so SEO has become the entry requirement rather than the whole game. What is genuinely new is the need to structure content so a machine can lift a clean answer from it.

Will you buy links for us?

No. Paid link schemes violate Google's spam policies and the risk sits with you, not the agency that sold them. We build authority through digital PR and genuine earned mentions. It is slower and it does not blow up.

Advertising

How much should I spend on Google Ads in Singapore?

Commonly S$1,500 to S$3,000 per month for a focused campaign in a moderately competitive category. Below roughly S$1,000 a month there is rarely enough conversion volume for automated bidding to optimise against, so the account never really learns.

If your budget is below that, we will tell you honestly that SEO and content are a better use of it.

Do you charge a percentage of ad spend?

We avoid it wherever account size allows. Percentage-of-spend pricing rewards an agency for spending more rather than spending well, which is a conflict of interest built directly into the pricing model.

Working with us

Do I own my website, code and accounts?

Yes. On final payment you own the code, the content, the domain, the hosting, the analytics and the ad accounts — all set up in your name, not ours. You can move to another provider whenever you like and take everything with you.

Can you take over a site built by another agency?

Regularly. We start with a technical and SEO audit so you get an honest picture of what you have inherited, then recommend either a rescue or a rebuild. We will tell you when a rebuild is not worth the money.

What if we are unhappy with the work?

Tell us early. Every stage has an approval point precisely so problems surface while they are still cheap to fix. Two rounds of revisions are included as standard at the design stage, and we would far rather rework something than deliver something you do not want.

How do you handle our data under Singapore's PDPA?

Personal data submitted through our website is used only to respond to that enquiry. We do not sell it or share it with third parties for marketing. Access is limited to staff who need it, and you may request access to or correction of your data at any time. Details in our Privacy Policy.
